Parallel Worlds

(Photo credit: John Brash and Michael Fromholz respectively)

A 1700cm x 1000cm x 1000cm floor light-sculpture, this sculpture has two heavy Perspex panels leaning against each other, forming the shape of a tent that sits on a light box. One side of the Perspex panel has two Perspex sheets of printed images: one is the background and the other the foreground to render the 3D effect, while the other panel is a single sheet of flat printed image. Inside the ‘tent’ is an arrangement of futuristic cityscape that is made up of recycled and discarded Perspex.
